The Winning Combination
For centuries in many cultures and even more continents a search for the secret perdures.
While the short or quick plan/fix attracts, it also seduces.
The search for the road to success is long.
Keeping at things — discipline demands itself.
Making your bed, sticking to a diet, and practicing piano are all forms of discipline.
And there are corrections — either from other people and/or events.
“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.” Proverbs 12: 1 niv
An army recruit in boot camp experiences a form of discipline—a training program that will equip him to perform well under extraordinary stress.

Rafael Badziag, who studies the psychology of entrepreneurship, interviewed 21 billionaires and found they all had the same six core habits: (1) They wake up early; (2) they keep healthy and exercise regularly; (3) they are avid readers; (4) they take time to contemplate and think; (5) they develop routines and rituals; (6) they practice discipline and self-control.[1]
