Foods taste and smell enticely seductive when all of the ingredients are measured and prepared in precise and correct ways.
When the exact measure and the precise temperature and the determined length all meet then — voila, scrumptious food — great to view and even better to eat!
This process takes, no, demands precision and time — perseverance is also one of the ingredients.
This reminds me of an instruction by an early Christian leader, James who wrote in his letter in chapter 1:2-4.
While I started this piece by referring to food, he wrote about people.
“Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
