Take time, take in, smell, see, hear, taste, touch!
Savor the Small Things.
The simple act of slowing down long enough to enjoy the little things in life can make a huge impact to your mood!
Savor the smell of your coffee a little while longer.
Taste the sweet cinnamon flavor of a coffee roll or a flavored coffee.
See the beauty of fall leaves.
Feel the warmth of the wool sweater.
Hug the person you love.
Sit down to eat lunch at an actual table and not your desk. Let’s really take time to enjoy what we’re eating.
Have a fall picnic with family and friends.
Grill those hot dogs and, of course, s’mores.
Let’s give ourselves daily opportunities to find little pieces of happiness and joy.
They all add up!
Enjoy!
These simple and yet strong acts of gratitude.
A sage from centuries ago wrote in Ecclesiastes 3:12 – 13 “I have perceived that there is nothing better … than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all …”
