Heard and Seen and …

We have all learned from others — we have seen, we have heard, we have felt.
Some memories evoke joy while others bring up pain.
In various ways, we repeat and practice which we have learned, heard, and seen.
Paul wrote to his community in Philippi (Philippians 4:9) centuries ago “The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things…”
In business and education a mentor models life.
Mentors model behavior.
A good mentor exudes wisdom.
Francis of Assisi purportedly taught “witness … in all that you do, and, if necessary, sometimes even use words.
Wisdom need to be imparted and not just knowledge. Knowledge imparts simply theory and helps no one.
Wisdom changes lives and cultures and our world.
