Once In High School

“Push me and I will push you back.”

Does that sound like something which little kids do?

Let’s be honest and admit that adults often do the same.

Once in high school a scenario occurred in which one student pushed another student (me) with me ending up on the floor and then I proceeded to react.

The result – detention for both of us on Saturday.

I wish that I had heard and followed the wisdom of Proverbs 19.11 “A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense” (NIV).

I learned patience the hard way.

Be the good person!
